More About the World Map Panels
In case our Regional Maps do not include the map you need, we offer the world in
panels so you can make your own map, or a huge world map.
Each panel covers 30° of latitude and longitude and is 1800 x 1800 pixels in size
(60 pixels per degree of latitude and longitude). The coordinates of the top left and bottom
right corners of each panel are in the filename. The only "empty" panels (no islands, just
vast and lonely ocean) are C02, E02, and E03. The file size of each panel is 9.5 MB.
All the panels are just €1.50 each, except panel D04, which is free. Please use D04 to
experiment with colouration, projections, and any other operations you have in mind. Right-click on
the "free" link and copy the file directly to your computer (if you open the file and then
save it, you will lose the geodata). Download each of the free plain and shaded relief panels for a
detailed comparison of the difference in styles.
