About Land Cover
"Land cover" is the term we use to describe our version of Earth imagery from
NASA's Earth Observatory. You are probably familiar
with this imagery. It appears to be a combination of satellite and air photo imagery, enhanced
with more than just a dash of NASA artistry. No man-made artefacts are visible.
