Here we offer a free desktop wallpaper background based on our World land and ocean
shaded relief map. The map covers the entire Earth, 90°N to 90°S and 180°W to 180°E. The map features
only relief, there are no other markings.
Click on your screen dimensions to open and/or save the appropriate map. To preserve image quality,
files are 24-bit .png files - we recommend you copy the file directly to your computer. If necessary to
give more prominence to your desktop icons, "fade" the map by increasing brightness and/or
reducing contrast with your picture software.
