A good way of comprehending the sizes and bathymetry of our oceans is to view them from a global
perspective, which is what we present here. The poster is 6720 x 5600 pixels in size, each globe is 1800 pixels in
diameter, and the file is a 41.0 MB 24-bit .png file. No georeferencing, of course, but we hope you like it. A
bargain at just 6 euros.
The globe images were made by projecting a very large flat world map on to a digital globe in
